Matches Begin Sunday, April 13th

 

 

Woodmont Cup Match Results Tracker 

 

 

Format:

  • Individual – Match Play
    • Stroke off the low player
  • Pods
    • 4 player pods. As many as we can create. IF we have an odd #, may have one or two 3 or 5 player pods (A/B/C/D/E blind draw)
    • Pods announced Saturday April 13th after Spring Shamble
    • Win or Place in pod to move onto Single Elimination Match Play
  • Pod Matches:
    • 1 pt for front, 1 pt for back, 1 pt for overall
      • No ties for overall. Must have an overall match winner
      • Submit all match results to ProShop
  • Pod Match dates:

    • 1st match to be completed by May 19th… If you don’t play a match, you will be removed from pod. No refund. If you can’t play 1 match a month, don’t sign up please.

      2nd match to be completed by June 16th…

      All matches completed by July 21st…
  • Failure to complete matches per above schedule  will result in removal from event and $40 will NOT be refunded!
    • TC decided to hold FIRM on this one. They are tired of the whining and bitching of players!
  • If you can’t meet these deadlines for match play, don’t sign up!
  • If/when someone bails/removed from pod play:
    • We will DELETE them from event and remove all match results.

 

  • Single Elimination match play
    • 1st and 2nd in each pod advances to match play
    • Blind draw (1st vs 2nd) for bracket placement first round
    • Win match! – No front/back. Only the match
    • 2 weeks to play each round - More time after Sept 9-10 aeration
  •  All disputes to be decided by tournament committee

 

Handicap:

  • Handicap on date of match

 

Tiebreaker:

    • N/A

 

Champion: Single Elimination match play of Pod Winners

  • Credit $ to all 23 pod winners
  • 1st – 8th in Single Elimination also receive credit $.

 

Tees:  MIXED Tees – Whatever you qualify for…Blue, White, Jones, Super Sr. or Forward using handicap on date of match

 

Time: Schedule matches on your own

 

Entry Fee:  $40

  • $3 - Player of Year
  • $5 - Presidents Cup
  • $32 - Prize Fund

 

Player of the year Points/$: $2/player entered participation $ + $ Winnings

 

Sign up: Sign up via website by Friday Apr 15th at noon.

 

Posting Scores: All scores must be turned into the Pro Shop so results may be posted to leaderboard.  Players are responsible for posting their own scores in the GHIN system.
